I am pleased and honored to announce that Focus on Aging has once again received the 2012 Best of Glenview Award in the Marketing Services category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA). This is the third consecutive year that Focus on Aging has received this prestigious award from the USCA, which nationally selects less than one percent of all recipients to be Three-Time Award winners.
At Focus on Aging, we are always striving to achieve outstanding service for our clients and our local community by providing excellent marketing consulting to businesses involved with health care, elder care, legal services and other professions. I am grateful to the USCA for consistently recognizing Focus on Aging as a company that enhances the positive image of marketing and small businesses at both the local and nationwide level.
I have been a small business owner for nearly 25 years now. I truly believe in being an active part of the community you live in, and giving back to it in as many ways as possible. I attend many local Illinois business functions and am always seeking to network with those who live and work around me. This underscores my basic philosophy that marketing is about relationships and connecting. Certainly your neighbors provide you with some of your best connections–so why not start locally?
Amidst today’s rough economic climate, it’s not surprising to hear that business owners face many challenges just to keep afloat. And yet, it never ceases to amaze me that I belong to such a supportive community where smaller business owners help to promote each other and establish professional relationships. In fact, the USCA was created to be an advocate for small and medium size companies and business entrepreneurs throughout the United States.
I would like to thank the U.S. Commerce Association for awarding Focus on Aging the 2012 Best of Glenview Award in the Marketing Services Category and for promoting small business everywhere, not only in the Chicago area but across America.
